There are two Master Bedrooms, each with a king bed. The downstairs bedroom has French doors that open to a large patio and the bathroom has a shower and large tub. The upstairs bedroom opens to a large patio. Bedroom furniture was custom made in Guadalajara, MX.
The living room includes a 40-inch TV and Blu-Ray DVD player with several DVDs to choose from. You can also borrow DVDs from the Community Center or bring your own. Or use the attached HDMI cord to watch media from your computer. For music, plug into the speaker using the 3.5mm cable.
If you like to cook, there's a variety of cooking wares to create your favorite dishes. Pots and pans, soup pot, Cuisinart food processor, baking dishes, Cuisinart coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender and an assortment of spices, poached egg cooker and storage containers for yummy leftovers.
Taking work with you? The calm atmosphere in Loreto Bay is perfect for hunkering down and getting things done. Settle in at the custom-made desk and connect your computer via the HDMI cable to the TV. Or take your laptop to the third-floor tower and work in the open air of the surrounding mountains.
So many things to do in Loreto Bay... A community pool to lounge, float or read, a lap pool to work out, snorkeling right from the beach, not to mention golf and tennis. If you want to rent an ATM or go on a whale-watching tour, contact a guide at Vive Loreto just down the street from my villa.
Casa del Sol is special. It has three patios. The downstairs patio just off the paseo is large with table and chairs for morning coffee and two anti-gravity lounge chairs for your afternoon read (or nap). Second floor has patio table for six and a lounging area to catch some rays. And then there's the tower for vistas.

One of my favorite songs is Oleta Adams' "Get Here."
Getting to Loreto Bay is easier than you think. You can fly nonstop to Loreto International airport via Alaska Airlines from LAX (Los Angeles, CA) and San Diego.
Some get to San Diego, then take the short walk across the border and fly out of Tijuana airport on Calafia Airlines nonstop to Loreto.
From the airport, it's a short 10 minute drive either south to Loreto Bay and Casa del Sol or north to the town of Loreto.
If you prefer to start your adventure on the road, you can drive down the Transpenisular Hwy, the famous Hwy 1, and take advantage of many scenic stops along the way.
Let's Grab Coffee
Just down the street from Casa del Sol...
You can meet friends after your morning yoga or aqua fitness class and grab a delicious cup of coffee at Loreto Bay's La Sirena Café. Or maybe you prefer an early morning run, kayak excursion, or SUP outing. The local coffee shop is the perfect meeting place to start your day or grab some lunch before your afternoon siesta.
Coming off the water or golf course? Stop by the Nopolo Wine Cellar for food, fun and occasional musical entertainment.
