Welcome to my home in Loreto Bay
I'm Diana, a freelance writer, photographer and musician. I enjoy spending time in the warm waters of the Sea of Cortés on the eastern coast of Baja, Mexico. It's a beautiful area. They say it's where "the mountains come to kiss the sea."

I’d love to share the beauty of Loreto Bay with you. Please explore the pictures on this site to get to know my villa, Casa del Sol, and the surrounding area and community amenities. Then let me know if you'd like to experience Loreto Bay for yourself.
Casa del Sol
"Casa del Sol" is my two-story, two-bedroom villa—a private easy-to-reach getaway for one or two couples and an amazing creative retreat for one. There are numerous areas within the villa to lounge and relax or work on your next novel or song.

And from the front door, it's a short two and a half minute walk to the Sea of Cortés where you can step into the clear waters of the Loreto Bay National Marine Park—a protected marine preserve Jacques Cousteau once called "the world's aquarium"—where you can swim and play with the fishees. Back at the villa, shower off the sand and sea in the convenient outdoor shower.
Casa del Sol is a haven for a creative soul.
Loreto Bay
Village residents and guests can enjoy a community pool and exquisite lap pool, nearby tennis courts and an 18-hole golf course renovated by British Open champion, David Duval.

Other activities include yoga classes and pool aerobics, snorkeling, kayaking, SUP, boating or just reading on a lounge chair under a palapa on the beach. You'll find groceries and restaurants in the village as well as services to schedule hiking, ATM and whale watching tours.
Loreto Bay welcomes you with open arms.
Don’t Miss
The historic town of Loreto is only a 15-minute drive from the Villages at Loreto Bay. In the late 1600s, Loreto was settled by Jesuit priests and was in fact the first capitol of California before Baja was divided between the U.S. and Mexico. The Loreto Catholic church, built in 1697, still stands and hosts daily mass services.
